Yesterday was March 25th. My brother would have turned 44. He's been gone for 2 years now. I still can't believe he's gone and that it's been 2 whole years already. I've heard "time heals all wounds".... but who came up with that? It's been 2 years and the pain still hurts as much as the day I found out. So much has happened in that time. So much I've wanted to tell him about; Even just to hear his voice on the phone.Yes, I know he's in Heaven, ....he was born again. I don't like to cry because I'm afraid I won't be able to stop crying. I feel like there is a hole ripped into my heart. I wonder when it will heal.
So much has changed in me in the past few years. I've come close to death on a few occasions. Now I live day to day as compared to when I was younger, I would worry over everything. Maybe I've just "grown up" .... it's funny how life does that to ya. I do stop and smell the roses and stare in awe at the beauty of God's handy work. I've learned to love deeper, be even more caring, not let the petty things overcome me, try not to argue over dumb things and just be an ear to listen. Maybe it's because I've turned 30 and the reality of life is hitting me. Sometimes the thought of "age" scares me. anyway.

Woo! Comic Con!
This weekend is the Koku Manga Comic Con in Johnson City, TN! I'm so excited! The first Con of the year for me! I will be a vendor as "Atomic Cat Creations" and I will have cosplay items, clothing, jewelry, gifts, etc! Make sure you stop by my booth! I have been working very hard to prepare for this!

Be Flexible!
You've got to be flexible in life. It's easier to be a Christian when you are Flexible. What do I mean? It's easier to follow the Holy Spirit's leading and guiding when you are flexible. It's easier to be obedient to God!

True Heart
What is in your heart?
Is it love? Hate? hurt? Anger? It's time to deal with it and now.
Luke 6:45 The good person out of the good treasure of his heart produces good, and the evil person out of his evil treasure produces evil, for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.
Jesus told us to keep his commandment. What was that commandment? It is to love one another as he has loved us.
Well, how has He loved us?
He came to earth to save us... the Whole reason for Him coming.... He loves us so much he DIED for us. Yeah, we've heard that so many times, it just goes over our heads. Let me tell you another way so you'll get how deep this is.
Think of someone in your life you love a lot. Not just a lot but so much that you can't even put it into words. Now, you and this person are in a prison situation that there is a cost for their freedom. The cost is your life. Now, to set them free.... do you love them enough to die for them? Could you & would you?
Jesus Did. He loved you centuries before you ever were born and he did Die. He was Beaten. He suffered for our transgressions. He became sin to free us from sin. Now, let that sink in. Imagine that kind of selfless love.
How do we accept His love?
We simply just call out to Jesus! "Jesus! I need you! I need you and your love in my life! I want and need your freedom! I believe you Died for me! Jesus, be my Lord! Be my Savior!" And he will hear you.
As a Christian, It's a daily journey of renewing our Minds and Hearts. It's not easy, but it's worth it. What is in our hearts will be shown through our actions and our speech.
Rom 12:2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
How do we renew our Minds?
We Pray. We read our Bible. We "pick up our cross and carry it daily"....
When we get a Glimpse of the Love Christ has for us, we can't help but love those around us. It will change our hearts, change our lives... change our thoughts.
Now I Challenge you to watch
"The Passion of the Christ"....
let it sink in. Let it change you to SEE what Love did for you.

It's a New Day
Good Morning everyone!
It's a new Day. Thank God. Yesterday was a rather, .... Difficult day for me of which I won't get into. Although, I do know that once I lay my head on my pillow at night, that the next day is a fresh start. I'm so glad for that.
Since yesterday I've been following Kimberly Jones - Pothier and she's amazing. She's so uplifting and has a great word! She reminds me a lot of Joyce Meyer in her style of speech.
Yesterday I gave you some "facts" about me and now I'm going to lay it out there as to what I believe and my Love for Christ.

Ok, I warned ya!
I am a Born Again Christian. The Only way to God is through Jesus Christ. You have to have Jesus as the Lord of your life to get to Heaven. NO works will ever make that happen. This is what the Bible says, therefore I believe it and take it to heart. There are no other gods, no other ways that are true. It's proven many times in the Bible.
I believe that "Everything Happens for a Reason" is complete and utterly POO. It is an excuse to not have any Responsibility for ones' actions and beliefs. God has given us Dominion over the fish of the sea, the fowl of the earth, over the earth and everything that creeps on the earth. Also, what is Bound on earth is Bound in Heaven....
Gen 1:26 Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth."
Gen 1:28 And God blessed them. And God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth."
Mat 16:19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
Does that sound like we don't have any say??
Jesus also got the Keys to hell when he Conquered death.
Rev 1:18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
With having Dominion, Binding & Loosing, Keys to Heaven and Hell, Jesus also told us "What I do, you will do and more."
John 14:12 "Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father."
Now, what DID Jesus do? Well, He turned water to wine, he walked on water, He HEALED people of diseases, raised them from the Dead, He fed thousands of people with a tiny amount of food WITH leftovers, He Cast out Demons, He Loved the un-lovable, He had people around him who Weren't perfect!!!! They fought with each other, cussed, argued, and He TAUGHT them, He didn't chew them out and cast them away. He knew they needed Knowledge so they would be equipped for when he Ascended to Heaven.... and to Equip US! Then he told us he was leaving a Helper for us! Who is that? It's the Holy Spirit! The Holy Spirit will lead us, teach us, guide us if we Allow him to!
Joh 14:16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever,
Joh 14:17 even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you.
If we want to be Led of the Holy Spirit, we must be Sensitive to Him.
When people believe this Lie of "Everything happens for a reason", His people parish for a LACK of Knowledge!
Hos4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
Wow! What a scripture!
The reason "things happen" is because they didn't know their Authority in Christ and there are times that Humans do STUPID THINGS. Also, "things happen" because of the Law of Sewing and Reaping. When you plant a seed, what happens? In due time, the seed sprouts and grows, eventually bringing a Harvest of the seed you planted. If you sow a WEED, what will you Reap? A WEED. If you sow a Beautiful Sunflower seed, what will you get? A Sunflower! So, our actions are "Seeds" in this Sowing and Reaping. If you sow Mercy, you will Reap Mercy. If you sow meanness, you will REAP meanness! If you sow, Stealing,..... what's the Reaping? You will be stolen from!
So, in reflection, what have I been sowing? What have I been reaping?
In this day and age, people don't want to claim responsibility when it's easier just to pass the blame. How can we be better moms, dads, brothers, sisters, CHRISTIANS if we don't own up, claim our responsibility and Know our Authority?!
It's all so simple, actually. The Bible says it, I believe it.

March? Wow!
Alas,
it has been too long since I have been on here. It's mainly because I forgot how to, lol Also, we moved to our own house (we bought!) in October, so I was busy packing and unpacking. Christmas pretty much sucked since we were all sick.... mom ended up hospitalized with pneumonia. Anyway, it's almost mid March and here's my update!
I have been preparing and stressing over the up coming Comic Con at the end of this month. I finally got myself a truck after we (hubs and I) shared 1 vehicle for over a year. That was rough once we moved farther away from him work. I have picked up a lot of business hemming clothing for people and the word is getting out and I'm getting even more business! Yay me! lol I've also been listing jewelry and clothing on eBay.

I had no idea that doing last years Asheville Comic Expo would have opened doors to other shows. It's so much fun! I've also been sewing some pieces together for my brother's suits that he makes. He has his own page now as well.... G.L. And the CREW on Facebook.
